Evening art event on the Tiber.  A string of pyres was floated on the river.  Guys in boats with torches lit them and kept them lit for several hours, while various avant-garde type music was played, people went past in boats with drums, dancers danced along the banks.  The kind of thing you don't see much of in Leverett.
