Visit to Bordeaux. Andy was here for 2 weeks working with people, and I went for a long weekend. In French, I can express pretty much everything, although badly. I'd love to get to that point in Italian!
Bordeaux is a nice town - very vibrant restaurant scene in the center, and a tram system that works really well. I took the train one day to St. Emilion, and one day Andy and I did a wine tour thing to the Medoc area.

The next day we went in this jeep to a huge winery and wine center place in the Medoc region
Love towns like this, medieval door still as it was, winding, narrow streets. Like stepping back in time. Was the wine incredible? (Not that I would know about such things, mind you.)
