A sunny day, but cold. We went to the church of St. John and St. Paul, near the Colosseum. Under the church there's a big Roman house - actually, a group of buildings, two stories, with frescos that are still visible. This St. John and St. Paul lived in the 4th century AD, and were killed because they were Christian. They were buried in the house, and then the house was used as a church, and the big church was built on top of the house. After that, we went to another church, St. Stefano Round where there are gruesome frescos of saints.
